Toad Hall summer music nights are nearly upon us!

Starting Friday 30th November 2018 we are opening for evening dining EVERY Friday AND Saturday night as well as Sundays during the month on January.

We have recently expanded our courtyard dining area with a brand new deck and wrap around bar leaner to compliment the new addition of TOWNSHEND Brewery now here at TOAD Hall.

Shane is an accomplished solo guitarist.
With over 32 years of playing the instrument his style ranges from classical to finger
style (imagine a pianist’s approach of playing right hand melody and left hand chordal
accompaniment but on a guitar - the guitar “sings”

 

Friday 21st December 2018 - Holly’s Hat Trick
This is another great local band. With an alt-folk, psychedelic, post-punk style.
This three-piece from Riwaka is a must see.

 

Saturday 22nd December 2018 - Mudd Brothers
A TOAD Hall favourite this Nelson based acoustic trio play a mix of country,
rock and Irish music.

 

Thursday 27th December 2018 - Rhodeworks
An award-winning bluegrass folk band who play fast paced, high energy
folk music, introducing a set of traditional and well-loved bluegrass
alongside their original material.

New Zealand’s Most ‘Sea Worthy’ Shanty Group have been belting out traditional sea
songs from Aotearoa, France, Spain, the UK and more, since 2012.

Matiu has a back ground in traditional Maori performing arts, theater and fronting
great bands with his powerful yet smooth, unique voice.
His style is soulful roots and smooth flavours.

This band plays original music featuring facets of Celtic, Blues, Chanson, Gypsy, Swing
and Jazz improvisation. Entertaining and upbeat.
